I have made it a goal to learn how to make bread. I have always relied on the bread maker to do all the work for me, but that only makes 1 loaf at a time. So, from now until
spring, every Thursday is bread making day. Last Thursday I made cinnamon rolls along with the bread and Melissa and Bailey came over. As you can see Bailey helped me make the frosting. She dusted the counter and herself with a light coating of powdered sugar. And she perfected the art of "dunking" when she dicoverered how good the frosting was. As for the bread making, I have a pretty good white bread recipe, but I am still looking for a wheat bread recipe. And my cinnamon rolls have already improved with just two tries. See practice makes perfect. I have until the middle of April to get it down and then baseball starts a well as my "seasonal" truck driving job. I will be hauling seed potatoes again, and that's another story for later.

An updated picture
I now have an updated picture of Melissa and Paul with Bailey. They came over on Sunday and I took some pictures of them. Kamille also got a few with her new camera and this is one that she took. She got them on the computer before I did so I just used hers. We had a good day. One of Jake's friends came over for a visit too. We hadn't seen him since he came home from his mission in the Washington South Mission. It was good to talk to him. A lot of Jake's friends are home now. It will be good to get him home as well. I know his friends are anxious to have him home.

28 days!!

Okay, I am having troubles getting the pictures to do what I want them to. I guess it all comes with practice. These are some the most recent pictures of our kids. Travis is now in the eight grade and starting to change in his looks as well. Everyone used to think he looked like Jake, but he is definately getting his own look anymore. Although his voice sounds a lot like Jake's!
We are counting down the days until Jake gets home. His room is pretty dusty so I have plenty to do to keep me busy.
Chet is keeping himself very busy in the shop. He has all of his trucks pretty much ready to go and is now working on the other equipment like the chipper, roller and water distributer. Lots of work still.
I keep thinking that just a year ago Chet and I were getting ready to go to someplace warm and sunny. It sure made the winter go a lot faster. What fun memories we have of that trip. Swimming in the ocean and tasting how salty it is. I hadn't realized it was so salty, and such a beautiful blue too.

Introduction to our family
oon. Kamille is the third child and is always changing her looks. So beware if you don't recognize her in future pictures. Travis is the caboose and has learned to entertain himself with all of his siblings being gone all the time. Although he has lots of fun playing with his niece.Posted by Debbie at 2:37 PM 2 comments
