An update on school

Well I am almost a fourth of the way done with my second semester and I have to say this one is much harder than my last semester. I have 2 math classes going on this semester and I really wish I would have take one of them the first semester instead. Math requires a lot of homework, and with two classes I have homework every night. This week I worked on math until after nine o'clock or later every night and my poor husband cooked dinner all but one night and the night I cooked it was just scrambled egg sandwiches, sad I know!! We will survive and I am so thankful to have a husband who is so supportive of me going to school. He is so good at encouraging me and helping when he can. I love him so much! And poor Travis has to get himself up and ready for school all by himself, because I am on the bus by the time he has to get up. I am so proud of him, he hasn't even been tardy once since school started this year. I am lucky to have such a good kid!!

I vaguely remember having this picture taken, although I don't remember how old I was, maybe 3 because Shelly is 14 months younger than I am and she is probably around 2 years old. I think Shelly looks like a dark version of Nikki's girls. What a handsome couple my parents were!!! The smile on my Dad's face reminds me of Zac, Cheryl's son.

For Christmas this year I went through all the pictures I could get my hands on and made a photo book for my parents for Christmas. I tried to pick pictures that were great memories of our family as we grew up. This picture here is the only picture I could find of my mom and dad's wedding day. It is not a very good picture but it works. My mom and dad will be celebrating their 49th wedding anniversary on January 18 of this year! They have made some great memories together, and are still going strong. It is a lot more of a challenge for them to do things now with their health issues. My dad is slowly losing abilities as the Alzheimer's progresses. Some days he does really well and some days he gets very flustered! Mom's patients are being tried as well. My parents eloped so that is probably why there aren't many pictures. I'm surprised they had flowers and a cake. They were married at the Green T in Pocatello.
This year I am going to be adding some of the pictures I found and writing some of the memories I have of those event and experiences. I need to before I forget anymore!
Happy Anniversary mom and dad!!!
