Spring Break

Well, this is not how I pictured my spring break, but I am glad it was this week anyway. We had to put my Dad in a rest home on Monday and my Mom really needed some help to do it. It has been hard on all of us, but especially on my Mom. She did her best to take care of him, I know that for sure because I would have to say that he is one of the most advanced Alzhiemer's patient in there. She is tired and sad all at once.
I did get to have my grand daughters come and have a sleep over and we went to story time the next day. It was really fun to have them here even if it was only for a little while. I miss them and with school I am always too busy to have much time with them. Melissa and Paul moved this week as well, it's spring break for them too, so it was all planned out before all this happen with my Dad. They are now living in a cute little house with their own garage and a fenced back yard. It's way better for them all. They were finally able to get all their stuff out of storage. It's like Christmas for the girls. There are toys they haven't seen in almost a year. They are loving it!
